Tomorrow is the big day!!

Ok I have settled on this, it's diffrent from the first one and not quite as dramatic as the second. My appt is at 1 tomorrow, I am getting nervous already!! Wish me luck!!

Some ppl are just rude

I went into a chatroom recently looking for some friendly conversation, and the ppl in there were so rude. I said hello and one of them responded, but they were ganging up on this one person claiming that they were not who they said they were. And I remember a day when I might have been involved in something like that. But honestly today it seems so childish, I guess we change over the years. I just left, there was no point in hanging around listening to this rubbish. And come to think of it, the very same thing happened the last time I was in that chatroom. I wonder if these ppl don't have things going on in their own lives and they have to live through chatroom drama. I really do feel sorry for those who are bored enough to be living in this way, it's sad....

This weekend I took approx. 500 pics. Now I have all these shots to go through...I dunno if I will ever get them all done. At some point that all begin to look alike, and I don't even know which ones I have looked at...

My mom wants more pics of the kids...I can never take enough pics of them for her. I wonder if she doesn't get tired of looking at their faces LOL Now I am supposed to take them out and do some sort of photo shoot. I am getting around to it, but honestly it will most likely be spring b4 I can get them outside to take pics. It has been so cold here, and they stay bundled up when outside, not exactly in their sunday best lol

My wonderful weekend...

Friday was my 16th anniversary, hubby and I both had to work so we put off our celebration for Saturday. Kevin had to work Saturday morning, so we got a late start, but we had a good time. We went out to eat at the new Maddhatters. It was pretty good, we ordered a blooming onion that thing was huge!! We barely put a dent in it. It was sooooo good!! After dinner we went riding around taking photos and talking. We had a good day, and ended it by going to watch I AM LEGEND. What can I say about this movie? It was so disturbing...I am a horror movie junkie and scared of almost nothing. And while this wasen't exactly a horror movie it was soooo freaky!! I left the theatre seriously disturbed...for lack of a better explaination. But we did have an amazing day. Today, we went to the river and took out the camper. It was fun, Kevin ice fished and the kids played in the snow. I didn't realize how much I missed the camping trips we were taking this past summer!! It's always nice to get out of the house and away from reality for a day or two :) And on the plus side, I took TONS of pics, so go on over to my photo page and check those out ;) Don't forget I have a hair appt on friday I am still looking for opinions on the cut! Ok so, after months of deliberation I had finally almost made up my mind on my haircut right? Well, my friend went and got her's cut exactly like what I wanted. Soooooo I am having a change of heart, what do you think about this??


I just don't want to have the exact haircut my friend has ya know?? :(

2 Cut or Not 2 Cut

Ok here's the deal, I haven't had hair shorter than my shoulders since 4th grade, and I am thinking it's time for a change. My hair is a little shorter now than it is in the pic on the top but that's the only hair pic I could find, all of the others I have a ponytail. That's the thing, I can't manage to do anything with my hair besides pull it up, so I am thinking about cutting it like the pics on the bottom. I am also planning to get highlights. I dunno if I will like it or not, and I am basically scared out of my witts but I made an appt. So if you think I shouldn't cut my hair let me know b4 Feb 1st so I can just get a trim lol....

A call I recieved tonight...

I went to work because 1. we needed the money and 2. I needed to get out of the house. After 15 years of being a homemaker I was a little inprisoned, if you know what I mean. So I literally went to work at the first place that hired me. The ad in the paper said "inbound" calling center. So I went in thinking how hard can it be to answer the phone and work a pc, heck I should be a pro..lol I trained quickly and caught on easily enough. But by day 3 I had been cussed out at least 45 times. Now while I am one of those ppl who are happy to let things roll off my shoulders, after the 45th cussing it becomes a little frustrating. lol! I have learned to ignore the attitude and I am pretty good at talking them down and getting my job done. Some calls go over the 2 minute 20 sec time limit, but not because I didn't give it 100%. Most of them call really mad and by the time I am done with them they are wishing me a good evening. My boss told me I was ready to begin training other ppl,and I have helped in training a few folks and that's an entirely new experience, but easy enough. All in all I have been feeling pretty good about my job. And I have actually had a few calls from ppl who in a diffrent situtation would have made pretty good friends. But tonight I had an entirely new experience. A guy called me 4 mins b4 quitting time and started asking me tons of questions I couldn't answer. And honestly no one that works there could have answered them. It got me to thinking, how can we do customer service if we don't really know anything about the services we are supposed to be supporting?. And we don't have access to the information. I was trying to sound professional, and at the same time feeling very lost. I didn't know what to tell the man, so I made the most intellengent comments I could muster, and tried to get him off the phone as quickly as I could. The call lasted almost 11 mins, and when I finally got off the line, I clocked out and went home. But ever since I have been wondering what I would tell the next person who called asking those same questions. How do we fill in the grey areas? WHen things aren't cut and dry how do we handle it? Do we try and sound professional, or simply admit that we just don't know? Honestly, I don't know....

I have spent the past few days rearranging my blog, and I really like it, only problem is, I have a huge intro lol. You can still find my photos just look to the right side for the links.
